These beautiful, handmade ceramic French Butter dishes are handmade in Virginia's home studio.

Size: 3" tall x 3 1/2" wide
The outer container is 3 1/2" in diameter and 3 1/2 " tall
The butter bell is 4 3/4“ in diameter and 3 3/4” tall
the butter chamber (inside the bell) is 2 1/2" in diameter and 2" tall

Butter Dish Care: The mugs are lead-free, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe.

ARTIST'S STORY:
Virginia is a Minnesota based artist working out of her home studio in south Minneapolis. She honed her craft through extensive travel, a variety of classroom settings, and nearly two decades of experimenting. It's taken tons of mud to create the forms she seeks and numerous mishaps to discover her palette!

Virginia strives to personify qualities of nature. Creating these forms has become a therapeutic process, a means to take in the daunting and tumultuous currents. Engaging in the creative process with both paint and clay is a means to find a balance in this perplexing state.
